Matt Huyck
Matt joined the Wall lab/Computational Biology Initiative in June, 2006 as an intern. He has a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University, where he rounded out his physics training with a heavy course load in Computer Science.
His professional experience in systems integration, web development and electronic commerce was obtained as a team leader and project manager for a Boston-based internet consulting company. At the Wall Lab/CBI, Matt and his colleagues are applying their expertise in systems integration and web technologies to the challenging computational problems biologists and biomedical researchers are now facing at the medical school and beyond. Matt is now pursuing a PhD in the Bioinformatics Program at Boston University.
About our Lab
Our lab is interested in computational approaches to understanding biological function and the genetic basis of diseases. Our work falls into three interrelated aims.
