Jike Cui

Jike Cui received Ph.D in bioinformatics from Boston University in May, 2009, and joined Dr. Wall’s lab soon after. At BU Jike’s study was focused on the comparative study of N-linked glycosylation among thirty-three eukaryotic genomes and twelve virus genome, the genome of Trichomonas, and the change of proteomes at different life stages of Giardia.

Jike is currently working on the search of gene triplets with logic relationships based on the phylogenetic profiles generated by the Roundup, a large database of orthologs computed via the Reciprocal Smallest Distance (RSD) algorithm. He is planning to add that feature to the database. In the near future, Jike will be likely working on the genetics of Autism.

In his free time, Jike enjoys basketball, Frisbee, watching movies, and hiking.
